The Friends of Peterson will continually be soliciting input to assess instructional and other needs at Peterson and will attempt to raise funds throughout the year to fill these needs. Here are some of our current projects:

BOOKS FOR CLASSROOMS GOAL: $2650 

We are hoping to purchase leveled books for Peterson 
classrooms so that students and teachers are easily able 
to find “just right” books, and thereby help students 
improve their literacy skills.

Field of dreams

We will work to help improve the drainage system on the 
field outside of Peterson so that is usable even when it 
rains or snows. This will be a long-term effort as the cost 
for this project is very high.
